Refund and Returns Policy

At Freelancing City, we strive to ensure a smooth and satisfactory experience for both freelancers and employers. Our refund policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be granted.

1. General Refund Policy

Refunds are issued only under specific circumstances and are subject to approval by Freelancing City. Refund requests must be submitted within 10 business days of the transaction.

2. Refund Eligibility

A refund may be considered under the following circumstances:

Project Cancellation by Employer Before Work Begins: If an employer cancels the project before the freelancer starts work, they may receive a full refund.

Freelancer Non-Delivery: If the freelancer fails to deliver the agreed-upon work within the specified deadline without prior notice or valid reasoning.

Work Not as Described: If the delivered work significantly deviates from the agreed-upon requirements and revisions do not resolve the issue.

Mutual Agreement: If both the employer and freelancer mutually agree to cancel the project and request a refund.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued under the following conditions:

The freelancer has already started or completed the work as agreed upon.

The employer is dissatisfied due to subjective preferences rather than failure to meet project requirements.

Delays caused by the employer’s lack of communication, incomplete information, or changing project scope.

Any services marked as “Non-Refundable” at the time of purchase.

4. Refund Process

  1. The employer must submit a refund request via [Freelancing City’s dispute resolution system or customer support email] with relevant details.

  2. Freelancing City will review the request and may request additional information from both parties.

  3. A decision will be made within 5 business days based on the provided evidence and platform policies.

  4. If approved, the refund will be processed using the original payment method within 7 business days.

5. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises between an employer and freelancer regarding a refund, Freelancing City’s dispute resolution team will investigate and provide a fair judgment based on the provided evidence.

6. Policy Updates

Freelancing City reserves the right to update this refund policy at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or platform notifications.
